True love is never having to say you’re sorry … for taking up a whole closet. (Just ask any couple on House Hunters.) Jenna Dewan Tatum and her husband Channing Tatum know that well.
Even though the new face of Danskin admits that her husband is a big fan of fashion too, she has relegated his clothes to a corner of their shared closet.
“In our new house we share a bigger closet than we had, but poor Chan, he has one little row and I have the whole rest of it,” she says.
Any chance she’s got a big closet cleanout in her future to make space for his suits? “I give away, but I give away after it gets to the point that it gets so stacked and full, embarrassingly over-stuffed,” she says. ” I’m a good giver-away-er — I almost give away too much. I like to refresh and then it leaves me more room to get new things.” (Sorry, Channing!)

Despite their space issues, the star says she’s totally supportive of her husband’s unique style. “Chan likes that 1940s, what he’s doing with the hats and the vests — it’s actually great, it’s a cool little style. But he also likes to go against the grain,” she says. “One time, he wore these ninja shoes he got in Japan , and he wore them on a red carpet just because he said, ‘F–k it, I want to wear these on a red carpet, I’m wearing them.’ His publicist looked at me like she was going to kill me. I’m like, ‘I can’t control him.'”
Sorry, ninja shoes? We need photo evidence. “We have tried to find those pictures!” she says. “We can’t. They [are the type of shoes] where one toe goes this way and the rest go that way? Like frog shoes?”
