Jenna Dewan Tatum has debuted a fresh new chop and bangs! But it's not all what it seems.
The 35-year-old actress and wife of Magic Mike star Channing Tatum is the latest celebrity to jump on the faux fringe bandwagon.
Dewan Tatum shared a photo of her new 'do on Instagram with the caption, "Name of my biography: Always Chasing Helena Christensen".
The actress' hairstylist Kristin Ess spilt all about her new hairstyle to PEOPLE.
"So, she has wanted a bang forever. I feel like she’s been asking me to make her a fake bang for about two years. We finally did it!” Ess said.
But it wasn’t just clipping in a fake fringe, there was way more to the new 'do, including a new cut.
“Brad Goreski dressed her in this incredible white jumpsuit situation and the whole thing felt very ’70s chic. Once we saw her own hair with a full bang, it just looked too heavy, so we razored it into a soft shag with an A-line base.”
Ess also confirmed that Jenna is definitely inspired by supermodel and former Victoria's Secret Angel Helena Christensen.
“I would say that Helena Christiansen is her inspo for this look … but I would also say Helena Christiansen is her inspiration every day all day! She would say so, too!” Ess joked.
