Hinting a Cursed Child movie could be on the way, she wrote alongside the image: “Sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places #HarryPotter #CursedChild.”
The clue – plus the fact that this is the British author's first tweet in six months has lead fans to believe a film is being made based on Cursed Child, the stage play that premiered in London three years ago and is currently playing in Melbourne and New York.
The Cursed Child is set 19 years after the end of the final Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and follows Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione’s (Emma Watson) children.
