Styled by Julie Pelipas and photographed by Anthony Maule for InStyle magazine’s December issue, the almost 50yr old shows off her killer bod (and killer curves) in an emerald green sequinned cape which is draped over her naked statuesque body.
The shimmering cape gown is a Valentino Haute Couture masterpiece which hugs the singer’s body in all the right places. InStyle’s Creative Director Rina J Stone captioning her post of the image, “Then @j.lo decided the cape looked better without the rest. #boom”
This amazing fashion moment is almost reminiscent of another iconic fashion moment the star has had in the past - the famous see-through leafy green silk chiffon Versace dress with THAT plunging neckline (look, it was basically just a scarf wrapped around as a dress. OF COURSE Jlo made it look incredible) that the singer wore to the Grammy’s in the year 2000.
The recent InStyle cover story touches on Jennifer’s body type saying “Lopez was a forerunner in the trend toward embracing curvier body types — living proof that goddesses (and their butts) come in many shapes and sizes” they go further to state “she credits her looks to the wholesome habits she’s maintained throughout adulthood: no caffeine, no alcohol, lots of sleep. “I’ve taken care of myself, and now it shows,” she says.
In an alternate universe, we’d all look like Jlo, but alas, life isn’t always fair. For now though, we will just live vicariously through her pictures...
