Fans had previously linked Depp to another woman on his legal team - Camille Vasquez, who represented him in the US Trial, however, the American lawyer quickly shut down the rumours, telling People that it was a “disappointing” narrative.
"I guess it comes with the territory of being a woman just doing her job," she explained earlier this year.
"It's disappointing that certain outlets kind of ran with it or said that my interactions with Johnny—who is a friend and I've known and represented for four-and-a-half years now—that my interactions in any way were inappropriate or unprofessional."
Whilst Johnny won a massive $10 million payout during the defamation trial, ex-wife Amber Heard has since appealed the court ruling.
“We believe the court made errors that prevented a just and fair verdict consistent with the first amendment. We are therefore appealing the verdict,” a spokesperson for the actress said in a statement, via The Guardian.
“While we realise today’s filing will ignite the Twitter bonfires, there are steps we need to take to ensure both fairness and justice.”
