Married At First Sight’s Josh Pihlak has revealed he is planning to 'auction off' his wedding ring for charity.

In an Instagram Live story on Thursday, Josh – who was ‘married’ to Cathy Evans during his time on the show – spoke to radio personality Bryce Ruthven, explaining that he wanted to use his 'platform' to raise awareness for Motor Neurone disease, following the death of a family member.
'I lost my cousin last year (to Motor neurone disease). He was only 33, he was diagnosed when he was 30,' he revealed.
'Two young kids, a beautiful wife, a family and now he's gone'.
'Having this platform now... I don't want to see anyone else going through what our family did,' he added.
Josh has listed his wedding ring and a framed photo of himself and Cathy on their ‘wedding day’.
So far, the unusual listing has attracted a surprising 108 bids received in less than 24 hours.
As of Friday morning, the leading bid is sitting at $11,100.
