Kanye West gave Kim Kardashian West a heartwarming birthday gift on Friday.
In honor of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s 36th birthday, the rapper, 39, had a video created that shared touching throwback moments from her childhood.
Shared on Twitter, the tear-jerking five-minute video gives a behind-the-scenes look of her growing up in never-before-seen footage.
Played to the tunes of West’s “Only One,” the video documents sweet and silly moments at her childhood home and includes footage of mum Kris Jenner, brother Rob Kardashian, sisters Kourtney and Khloe, and her late father Robert Kardashian Sr., who can be heard saying, “Kimberly, follow your honest beliefs and stay strong.”
After West posted the video to Twitter, both Kourtney and Rob applauded him on social media for sharing the birthday tribute. “This is why I love you lol,” Rob said in reply to the video.
Khloe Kardashian also chimed in and thanked West in a tweet: “Best husband award! This is a gift for all of us! Thank you! I almost forgot his voice until today.”
The entire Kar-Jenner family took to social media — and their respective apps — on Friday to celebrate Kardashian West’s 36th birthday, including the family matriarch who also shared a touching home video mashup on Instagram. “My sweet girl Kimberly, I remember this day like it was yesterday…. you are a slice of heaven, then and today, I cherish every day with you and I love and adore you! Mommy xo,” Jenner captioned the video.
The birthday messages come just weeks after Kim was held at gunpoint and robbed of nearly $11 million worth of jewelry on Oct. 3, so a big birthday party may be out of the question.
An insider told WHO that the KUWTK star will be “laying low and spending a lot of time with her kids and family.”
