If you say, "I want to go out for a drink," she is like, "No, you are not doing that," to the point [where] I was rebelling a bit,' Michael explained. To which Karl shot back: 'When you say "controlling" you mean a woman who just wants you to spend time with her,'
Michael said the expectation was that he would 'wait like a puppy dog' until Stacey was ready to go out, which he wasn't prepared to do. The ‘company director’ even likened his and Stacey’s apartment to a ‘jail cell’ and said he wanted to ‘go out and have fun’.
'It's not that bad!' Karl interrupted.
'You are trapped to a point,' Michael replied. 'You do want to go out. You want your freedom.'
'Mate, you came on a show to find love. And you're supposed to spend time with the person you're married to,' Karl hit back.
Michael did at least concede that he had let Stacey down ‘bog time’ with his behaviour.
Michael’s behaviour has certainly been rather appalling over the past few weeks. The MAFS star scolded Stacey behind her back on their honeymoon and also claimed he was far too intoxicated to even remember hooking up with their co-star Hayley Vernon.
And while the successful business owner seemed to feel remorse for his inappropriate actions and promised his wife he'd change his behaviour, a string of videos from more of his boozy nights out have recently surfaced, leaving many MAFS followers even more concerned for his wellbeing.
Over the weekend, the popular Instagram page MAFS Funny shared a worrying video the dad filmed during a bender which showed him taking a nasty swipe his TV bride while partying with a mystery woman.
"Having a couple quiet ones at the bar. Who do I bump into? This gorgeous girl. Giddy up. Oi! Every Bond film needs a villain. Ladies and gentlemen, here he is! Suck your heart out," an intoxicated Michael said, sticking the finger up to the camera.
He captioned the blurry video: "Sorry STacie."
