Kate Ritchie’s husband, former rugby league player Stuart Webb, has been charged with mid-range drink-driving and driving with a suspended licence.
The 38-year-old ex-footy player was pulled over by police in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on March 26 at 4pm in the afternoon, according to police.
Stuart had allegedly run a red light, and when he was stopped by police he allegedly blew 0.083. They realised he was also allegedly driving on a suspended license.
If convicted, the former Sydney Roosters and St George Dragons player faces a further six-month licence suspension for the drink-driving offence alone, while driving without a licence carries up to 12 months in prison.
Kate and Stuart have been married since 2010 and have a daughter together.
