The 13 Reasons why actress is swapping school for superheroes
Aussie actress, Katherine Langford is best known for her portrayal of Hannah Baker in the hit series 13 Reasons Why, but know she is set to appear in the upcoming Avengers movie.
According to The Wrap, the actress, 22, has already filmed her scenes for the yet to be titled film. However, details about the exact nature of her role are being kept under tight wraps.
The next Avengers film will be the fourth installment in the Marvel/Disney series and is expected to hit cinemas in May 2019.
Details of Langford's role in the film are yet to be revealed.
The most recent film, Avengers: Infinity War was hugely successful grossing over $2 billion worldwide. The film left the fate of many of our beloved superheroes unknown – meaning fans will be more eager than ever for the next installment.
Langford was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in 13 Reasons Why, but she is not set to reprise her role as Hannah in the third season.
Meanwhile, Langford is also working on a new Netflix production, Cursed. The series is a retelling of the legend of King Arthur and she will portray, Nimue, a teenage sorceress who is destined to become the Lady of the Lake.
