The pair, who got engaged on Valentine's Day this year, are planning on not one special day, but two – and at least one destination wedding is on the cards.
"They have the guest list figured out and many of the details," a source shared with E! News. "They hope to have everything finalised soon because they are very excited about getting married."
However, according to insiders close to the couple, this might not be the full story! Us Weekly reports that the wedding has been postponed so that the couple can expand their family first after Orlando recently spoke of his desire to have kids with Katy.
"I really want to enjoy family and friends, my beautiful son [Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr], and have more kids."
It follows on from reports that the Teenage Dream singer may already be pregnant, after she was spotted sporting what appeared to be a baby bump at Orlando's Carnival Row premiere.
According to Life & Style magazine, a source said: "Katy had wanted to wait until after they were married to have kids, but that’s not written in stone.
"If she were to get pregnant today, she’d probably just postpone the wedding until after the baby’s born"
The plot thickens!
News of the postponement comes just a month after it was revealed that Katy is being sued by local Aussie designer Katie Perry for alleged trademark infringement.
Katie said she was launching litigation proceedings against the Firework singer in the Federal court in an attempt to stop the pop star from selling clothing branded with her name in Australia.
“This is a real David and Goliath fight,” the designer said in a statement. "The singer has ignored my trademark and continued to sell infringing goods unlawfully in Australia.
"I am fighting not just for myself, but for all small businesses in this country who can be bullied by these overseas entities who have much more financial power than we do."
