In a very rare move, Kensington Palace have officially commented on the alleged feud between Prince William and Prince Harry and their wives Duchess Catherine and Meghan Markle.
Watch: A royal palace insider spills on the royal fighting
There has been an allegation that Kate spoke to Meghan about her attitude.
A senior royal aide told the Mail on Sunday that last Christmas, “Kate had a quiet word with Meghan.”
“It escalated rapidly after Meghan complained to Harry that she had been ‘told off’.
“He took her side, while William defended Kate, who was five months pregnant with Louis and certainly didn’t want this sort of confrontation.”
A Kensington Palace spokesperson has now said, "This never happened."
Kate also shocked the public when she spoke about her sister-in-law in the midst of the claims.
Last week, a fan asked Kate about her three children – Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 7 months.
“They’re doing well, thank you,” she said in a video shared by Harry_Meghan_Updates on Instagram.
“They’re getting excited for Christmas time, because they’ve started all their Christmas songs and the Christmas trees are going up.”
Kate continued, “And Louis’ getting bigger, I can’t believe he’s like seven months, he’s getting to be a big boy.”
The fan followed up by asking if she was excited about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s baby on the way.
Kate immediately responded: “Absolutely!”
“It’s such a special time to have little kiddies,” she shared.
“And a cousin for George and Charlotte, as well, and Louis. It’ll be really special.”
Despite the pleasantries - the Cambridges will still spend Christmas away from the Sussex couple.
Kate and William will be with the Middletons while Harry and Meghan will be in Sandringham.
