While the source admitted Khloé's life will be “difficult” without the support of Thompson, 27, she will be fine considering she’s been “living in L.A. alone with True for months.”
"It’s always difficult when you realize a relationship that you have worked hard on to keep is completely over. But for Khloé, although it seemed she was always hoping Tristan would change, she has been acting for a while like she has moved on,” the source continued. “She has been living in L.A. alone with True for months. They have their routine and schedule in L.A. that Khloé loves. This will not change for Khloé.”
The source adds, “When she was pregnant, she never expected to be a single mum though. Tristan’sbehaviourr has definitely shocked her. Khloé is the nicest, most caring and giving person.”
This comes a day after Kardashian posted a series of cryptic messages on social media.
"Don’t let shame keep you from asking for the support you want. Suffering is done in silence, end it with speaking up,” Kardashian shared on Feb. 23. “Everyone has a dark chapter. Make your shadows go away by shining light on yours. Find the encouragement and the strength needed to face the sun. Remember clouds are always temporary. Believe it gets better,” her quotes continued.
The Strong Looks Better Naked author then posted a more obvious message aimed at her ex: “We have to accept that some people are really f–ked up and it’s not our job to heal them.”
