The first episode of The Kardashians, season two has dropped and it was full of drama.
Picking up where season one left off, the debut episode was full of information on Khloé and the imminent arrival of her second child via surrogate.
Whilst it was confirmed months ago that Khloé had welcomed her second child – the family remained tight-lipped on any further details…until now!
Here’s everything we learnt about Khloé, Tristan and baby no.2.
Kim didn’t know about the new baby during the season 1 finale
In the dramatic final scenes of season one, audiences watched Kim break the news to Khloé about Tristan’s affair via a phone call.
Fans might remember Kim telling Khloé, “If this isn’t the biggest sign not to have another baby with this human being….”
“I have a little problem…I need to talk to you” Khloé replies in new never-before-seen footage, before telling Kim that she and Tristan had completed an embryo transfer just days earlier.
The opening scenes of season two were emotional as Khloé re-lived those moments, explaining that what should have been a positive experience had now taken an unimaginable turn.
It was only days between Khloe’s surrogate falling pregnant and Tristan’s cheating scandal going public
During a sweet conversation between Khloé and baby-sister Kylie, she reinforced the crazy timing of the drama.
Khloé explained that she and Tristan had chosen to go ahead with the embryo transfer “just days” before Tristan’s cheating scandal was made public.
“We did an embryo transfer days before thanksgiving” explained Khloé, “and I found out about Tristan’s situation the first week of December.”
Khloé was also quick to shut down any rumours that she knew about the affair, asking “why would I want to have a baby with someone who is having a baby with someone else? I’m not a psychopath.”
The Kardashian-Jenners are not forgive-and-forgetting this time
Long-time fans of the Kardashians might be feeling a sense of Deja Vu with Khloé’s second child. Just 48 hours before she gave birth to her first child, True, who is now four, Tristan was also caught cheating.
Whilst the Kardashian-Jenners tried to put the drama behind them and befriend Tristan for the sake of Khloé last time – They are a lot less forgiving second-time round.
“I just didn’t like the fact that Tristan knew this was happening” Kylie explained during a family lunch.
Kendall agreed, “You [Tristan] were encouraging Khloé to go forward with this [surrogacy] while you knew that was also happening.”
“It’s almost like he wanted to trap her” she explained.
And it seems Kris agrees, suggesting that Tristan may have thought the new baby would “make” Khloé marry him.
“I’m just really disappointed in Tristan,” concludes Kylie.
“It’s really f****d up that he knew he had another baby on the way with someone else – It makes me uncomfortable. It’s really unforgivable in my books.”
Khloé and Tristan’s current relationship
Season two kicks off whilst Khloé is awaiting the arrival of her son and gives audiences an insight into what her relationship was like with Tristan during the months their surrogate was pregnant.
When Khloé’s best friend Malika asks her about Tristan – it’s clear their relationship is strained.
“He’s excited and wants this. He keeps asking me questions but I won’t answer him.”
Khloé acknowledged feeling “angry” and “bamboozled,” echoing her family’s belief that Tristan tried to ‘trap’ her.
“All I know is, I was being encouraged to do it by a certain date” she explained. “In hindsight, he always knew when the other baby was being born.”
Khloé also revealed that paperwork Tristan filled out confirmed he knew about the other child on July 2nd – months before thanksgiving.
What is Khloe’s son’s name?
During the debut episode, Khloé confirmed her baby’s name would start with a T.
Tyler, Tucker, Taytum and even Travis were all suggested by Kris!
Kris’ partner Corey suggested Ten at the baby shower – whilst others suggested Tritan, Teo and Tiger, however, they didn’t confirm the bub’s name.
When was Khloe’s son born?
The end of the debut episode jumps to July 28th 2022, with Kim confirming Khloé’s surrogate had gone into labour.
Audiences watched the two sisters head to the hospital as well as an adorable montage of home-video style footage, including the heartwarming moment Khloé met her son for the first time.
