“There was a takeaway order placed from possibly her hostee,” Piccolo Cucina manager Jolene Aiello told the Courier Mail.
Perhaps it really was being taken to Kim's private jet before she flew home to the US?
“She did tell him (the waiter) she was an air host from a flight leaving for the States... it’s a possibility this went to her plane and she could enjoy something on her way home," Ms Aiello added.
She confirmed that the order did come with a hefty tip but it's not clear if the money came directly from Kim.
Claims about Kim's huge dining bill first made headlines on Wednesday after Callum took to social media with his story.
“Took Kim K's order at work today. Thx for the hefty tip @KimKardashian,” he captioned an Instagram Story outside the restaurant.
The local then leaked a photo of what he said was Kim’s receipt, showing that she dropped a massive $576 on lunch – though he made sure to block out payment details.
According to the receipt, Kim (or her air hostess) paid for four $15 caprese salads, two $11 serves of bruschetta, two $20 margherita pizza and much, much more.

“Just finished work and have copious amounts of Kimmy fans apparently. Here’s her bill,” he captioned the photo.
The rich star also left Callum a massive tip – or so he claimed on Instagram, where he has since made his profile private.

While we know Kim was in Australia recently, there were no photos to prove she ever visited the Piccolo Cucina eatery or was served by Callum.
Fans were instantly suspicious of his claims - which have sinc been disproven - after another Aussie restaurant claimed to have served Kim earlier in the year only for those claims to be debunked.
Fans took it at face value when a café owner claimed Kim had flown in to see Pete Davidson in June and visited the establishment with him in tow.
“They sent their security detail in, and they had a little look at the menu, then asked if we had room for a couple of private guests, who are hoping to take over the inside,” Botanica Café Bar Kitchen Manager Matt Black told the ABC.
“Sure enough, in walked bl--dy Kimmy K and Pete Davidson. We had to put our phones out on the counter.”
But those claims were later refuted by multiple outlets and Pete’s own team, a spokesperson saying via The Daily Mail “Pete is currently in production in Australia without Kim”.
As for her actual visit Down Under in July, Kim worked hard to keep a low profile and avoid being photographed while in town.
“She's just here to spend time with Pete and has no plans on leaving the hotel. It's a very low-key trip and she doesn't want to be bothered,” an insider told The Daily Mail.
They also claimed “hotel employees were asked to sign NDAs with the production company working on Pete's new film”.
