Australian brands like PE Nation are dominating the market when it comes to cool gear that isn’t just for the gym and now we are know seeing this trend being taken a step further.
We are seeing celebrities go for an ultra lycra style fitted short paired with over sized shirting and minimal black blazers which is a super sleek style for this look, as well as over-the-top colours and crop tees for a real 90’s vibe.
While some are yet to be convinced or a little freaked out about taking this trend outside of the cycling studio, trying a longer style short with an oversized shirt to cover most of the short is a good way to transition into this trend.
The short trend is definitely one we will be seeing this summer, so luckily brands like Zara and H+M have taken on this trend to suit a larger market and have brought out some tailored shorts which can still give you that similar style.
Our tips on wearing this trend are, oversized shirting and jackets, sleek heels or statement slides and all black for our pick of short. But whatever style direction you take, cycle shorts are this summer’s sleekest wardrobe update.
