"If one family member goes on vacation a lot or takes time off a lot, the other family members have to step in and take over those hours," she continued. "So for the past year, Khloé and I have been taking over her hours, working, because we need content to make the show.'
"It's been exhausting for us when she hasn't taken that into consideration without making a decision of what she wants to do,' she said. 'Stay on the show, not, but to be in this limbo and have us do this for so long is frustrating."
Nevertheless, Kim says she's focusing on getting their relationship back on track, urging her sister to put the past behind her and focus on moving forward.
"We've come to the conclusion that [Kourtney will] film a little bit," she hesitated to say. "I don't even know if we have a conclusion, actually. It's always up in the air. But we're in a good place about respecting each other's space.
"And if someone doesn't want to be on the show, we obviously want them to have that mental break and live their life exactly the way that they want."
Despite their unresolved issues, Kim sided with Kourtney after Kendall said she was "the worst" parent out of the Kar-Jenner family. During her appearance on Ellen's show, the mum-of-four addressed the controversy, admitting her supermodel sister should've kept her mouth shut and taken a bite of the thousand-year-old eggnog.
"I completely understand that Kourtney was sensitive about that because she's an amazing parent," Kim said when asked whether Kourtney was insulted by the backhanded comment. "Kendall should have drunk or eaten a tarantula, whatever she had to do."
"In her defence, she did start off with, ‘You guys, they are all amazing parents.' So of course everyone is going to take just the order," Kim added.
The Skims founder then reminded viewers of the time she sipped on bird sperm instead of answering whether both Khloe and Kylie were pregnant on a previous episode of Spill Your Guts.
"I mean, I covered it for Khloe and Kylie," she added. "And I drank bird sperm or something. You got to take one for the family team. It was so nasty."
