The former KUWTK star added: “Privacy is something I have come to value and finding that balance of private moments with being on a reality show is hard."
“People have this misconception that I don’t want to work, which isn’t true. I am following my happiness and putting my energy into that which makes me happy.”
Kourtney also shared images from the magazine on her personal Instagram page and deemed it "an honour" to be on the Vogue Arabia July/August cover.
"This issue is dedicated to the power of following your instincts and what makes you happy, which is why I wrote the cover lines myself, the power of reclaiming yourself," she added in the caption.
The mother-of-three also debuted a shock new bob haircut that was well received by her fans and followers.
"MOST INTERESTING TO LOOK AT," one commented, referring to a comment of Kim Kardashian's where she labelled Kourtney "the least interesting to look at."
Kourtney and Kim made headlines when they engaged in a brutal physical fight on the show and it's believed this was the trigger for her decision to leave.
The eldest Kardashian made it official in March on Twitter when someone tweeted at her "@kourtneykardash just needs to quit the damn show! I’m over her not wanting to film,” to which she quote-tweeted and replied: “I did. Bye.”
When another wrote: “Does anyone apologise or correct their tone or words when they’re being mean to Kourt? Cause I’m not seeing that.”
Kourtney replied, confessing: “Never. They actually don’t see where my hurt comes from.”
A third Twitter follower suggested: "Maybe the fight made @kourtneykardash realise that is was time for her to quit," to which Kourtney replied, "It is from our darker moments where growth happens."
During a confessional in an April episode, Kourtney admitted she "reached her point of not being able to tolerate it anymore" during the argument.
“I don’t understand why there’s all this judgement about the way we each want to live our lives. We should be accepted for what we each want to do. It’s not a positive environment for me to want to be in every day when I feel like they’re so critical of me,” she said.
“Every day I’m coming in, I’m like, ‘Why am I choosing to be in this environment?’ And I think I just reached my point of not being able to tolerate it anymore.”
