“Nothing about the situation is easy and – you know, it – it would be tough for anyone to go through,” Malika told PEOPLE. “So, we’re – we are protective of her privacy and – and just being comforting to her because it – it’s hard. She’s going through a hard time.”
Khloé, 32, clearly wasn’t taking any chances in the wake of the robbery. She and her mother entered the event at The Grove in West Hollywood, California, flanked by a beefed-up security team.
Kourtney, 37, opted to skip the entrance but posed for photos with her sister in a more private area.

Khloé was the first member of the reality star family to speak out about the robbery, in which Kim was reportedly held at gunpoint, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that aired last week.
Khloé admitted Kim is “not doing that well.”
“I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her,” said the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star. “But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her.”
A source tells PEOPLE that Kim “is still having a difficult time.”
“She has zero desire to resume her old life,” says the insider, adding that for the most part, she remains at home in Los Angeles.
