Lara and Sam, 44, made the move Down Under with their older children, Rocket, 5, and Racer, 4, and 11-month-old son (whose name they are yet to reveal).
The family left the US after actor Sam landed the lead role in the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of dark comedy Appropriate.
And after Sam joined the show’s cast, which is slated to run during March and April, there was never any doubt that his young family would also accompany him.
“We travel everywhere together and we never have more than two weeks apart from each other – and that really works for us,” Lara has previously revealed.
And with the Aussie actor expected to spend an increasing amount of time across the Tasman as he finishes filming the Avatar sequels in New Zealand, it makes sense for the mum-of-three to be closer to her family and friends.
Further proof that the couple’s relocation is permanent?
Lara and Sam listed their Hollywood home for $12.5 million in October and, according to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald, have enrolled their two eldest sons into a private school in Sydney – where classmates include Natalie Portman and Isla Fisher’s respective children.
“I always love coming back to Sydney,” Lara previously shared with Vogue Australia in 2019.
Judging by the megawatt smile she sported in Bondi recently, the homecoming seems to agree with her!
