"This was the guy I dated before Matty [J], so I was 29. I was in one of those relationships where I wanted to look better," she said.
"I thought if I was more desirable, funnier, prettier, he would be better to me. It didn't work, and he wasn't."
Laura, who has two daughters with Matty, said she has since gotten Botox two more times, but not to impress anyone else.
"I didn't have it again until after I finished The Bachelor," the 34-year-old explained.
"Once again, pretty crappy self-esteem, and then I had it once since Marlie was born which was about a year-and-a-half ago. I haven't had it since then."
"When I've had it since, I did that for myself. I did it because I wanted to. There is nothing wrong with doing any tweaks and adjustments if you're doing it for yourself."
Brittany, the breakout star from season six of The Bachelor, where Nick Cummins famously picked no one, also revealed she too has had Botox and said she was happy with her results.
"I have had Botox a few times. I didn't have it until I was 31, and it was the other side of The Bachelor," she said.
"In my friend circle, no one had Botox. I was one of a very small handful on The Bachelor who hadn't had anything. I felt really out of place, and thought 'Oh my God I'm probably really old and ugly compared to these people.'"
"I quite liked it. I just reversed my age a year. As long as you're doing it for yourself - whatever floats your boat."
Some particularly juicy goss came out last week on the girls' podcast, when it was revealed new Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson had a near-miss with Brittany.
Appearing on the podcast, Jimmy shared that he and Brittany once almost dated.
With Brittany overseas at the time, Matty J, joined as co-host to interview the pilot.
“The one thing I wanted to bring up, and that’s because she’s not here to defend herself – Brittany Hockley,” Laura said as the trio started discussing Jimmy’s dating history.
“I heard you guys matched on Tinder, maybe had a couple of chats – what happened there?” she asked teasingly.
Jimmy explained that while he hadn’t watched a whole heap of The Bachelor, he had kept across Nick Cummins’ season and remembered Brittany.
“I remember seeing Brittany on there and I was like, ‘she’s absolutely stunning, why didn’t he pick her?’” he divulged.
“Years later, I came out of a long-term relationship and hadn’t been single for a few years … then got on the apps, as a lot of people did last year, and I matched with Brittany.
“We were going to go on a date, a coffee date, and I think she flaked me, from memory,” Jimmy said with a laugh as Matty scolded Brit in the background.
