Lauren Conrad didn’t just give us The Hills, but she also gave us serious ‘California beach wave’ hair-envy. So, when we found out that her personal hairstylist Kristin Ess, whose other celebrity clients include Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Lucy Hale (all with equally gorgeous locks) launched her own line of hair products exclusively in Priceline stores, we were kind of (actually VERY) excited.
Looking through her famous Instagram page you can quite clearly see that Ess has perfected the effortless hair wave that we try and achieve every morning before we go to work (but fail miserably). When we heard that Kristin created a range of hair products and tools that will help us in our ‘Oh-I-just rolled-out-of-bed-like-this’ hair quest, we were bloody delighted.
The range includes 14 products including shampoos, conditioners dry and wet stylers and a mask and the most surprising (and most welcome) part is there is nothing over $25. PLUS, they are cruelty-free. Yep, I’ll take one of each thanks.
According to the official press release: “Kristin designed the line so that each formula can be used alone or with other items in the collection and has included her own tips and tricks on the packaging to make it easy for everyone to create Instagram-worthy locks at home. All of the products also contain a first-of-its-kind Zip-Up complex, which combines Kerabead microcapsules and conditioning ingredients like chia seeds, pea protein and marine algae to help strengthen hair and protect it from damage.”
Ess comments on the parallels between Australian and Californian hair styles saying “I feel like Australia was the next natural stop for me after launching in the US, because I see so many similarities between California “cool girl hair” and Australian hair. It’s relaxed, undone and perfectly imperfect so I can’t wait to see how Australians respond to my range and the easy to use products.”
