Taking to the stage of The Mason’s Arms in Battersea, south-west London, Adele excitedly told the audience to “expect my album in September”.
Guests, along with bride Laura Dockrill, 33, and Maccabees guitarist Hugo White, also 33, were then treated to Adele belting out a rendition of her 2010 hit "Rollin' In The Deep" as well as Candi Staton’s "Young Hearts Run Free" before the recently slimmed-down star was spotted dancing with friends to Spice Girls and Beyoncé.
Last month, the Grammy award-winning singer’s manager, Jonathan Dickins announced that Adele was set to release new music towards the end of 2020, telling Music Week, saying “the sooner [it comes out] the better.”
Adele released her first album, 21 in 2011, however she preciously spoke about how her third album will most likely not be named after her age.
“I think this will be my last age one," she said during the release of 25. "I’m sure I’m wrong with this but I feel there’s been a massive change in me in the last couple of years.”
Last month, fans speculated that the British star was set to release new music after her YouTube page updated to say it featured 13 music videos, but only 12 were visible.
The new development had fans wondering if the :hidden video” meant she was ready for a music comeback.
Adele's new music will come after the breakdown of her marriage to Simon Konecki, who she split from in April 2019.
The star is believed to have been working hard in the studio on new music and teased her fans about the release after celebrating her 31st birthday in May.
Speaking about her new music for the first time, Adele told her fans: “This is 31 … thank f**king god.
“30 tried me so hard but I’m owning it and trying my hardest to lean in to it all.”
Adele has also hit the headlines in recent weeks after showing off her staggering 45 kilogram weight loss.
