After its UK success, LEGO Masters Australia will see eight pairs of passionate local creators let loose on The Brick Pit, where 2.5 million LEGO bricks await, as they get ready to build mind-blowing models and masterpieces that must be seen to be believed.
Best mates Jordan, 19, and Miller, 20, first met as boy scouts on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula and have remained friends throughout high school. They’re now set to take on the LEGO Masters Australia challenge.
Here’s everything you need to know about Jordan and Miller.

The pair have been LEGO building since childhood, and their building styles and approaches complement each other – Jordan is an ideas man while Miller is perhaps the more skilled builder. United, they make a mean team.
Jordan says he likes to be very organised when building, whereas Miller is usually more chaotic, preferring to pick his pieces out of a random pile of LEGO.
Now at university studying for a Bachelor of Industrial Design degree, Miller loves to challenge himself and his dream job would be a LEGO designer. Committed to self-improvement, he also enjoys drawing, table tennis and movies in his down time.
Miller says building LEGO makes him feel relaxed and puts him in a meditative state. His guess is that he owns around 100,000 LEGO pieces. His favourite? “Hinge bricks – there are so many others that I like, but nothing compares to building at weird angles. I love it.”

Outgoing Jordan can’t quite believe his luck at being in a LEGO building competition – a dream come true. Now doing a Bachelor of Film, Television and
Animation degree at uni, along with LEGO, Jordan enjoys archery, photography, travel, table tennis, cars, camping, skating and bike riding.
With a LEGO collection now amassing around 40,000 pieces, Jordan cites his favourite as “the fire extinguisher head piece because it does a lot for greebling” (where a LEGO piece is used in a non- traditional way to add detail).

With a passion for small, high-detail LEGO models, Jordan’s quick thinking and ingenuity (not to mention his impressive foot speed) should serve him well in The Brick Pit, but he’ll need to watch his clumsy tendencies near their models.
Jordan and Miller make a formidable pair – expect big things from them in LEGO MASTERS Australia 2019.
