With the likes of Callum Turner, Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi dominating our screens, big and small, WHO has been delighting in what’s shaping up as Year of the It Boy and Leo Woodall is another relative newcomer that we can’t wait to see more of.
Whether stealing the scene as the divisive, good guy/bad guy Jack in Season 2 of The White Lotus, or portraying the damaged but dreamy Dex in One Day, the 27-year-old makes the perfect leading man.
And his good looks and British accent aren’t just winning over audiences. He also stole the heart of Lotus co-star Meghann Fahy while shooting in Italy’s beautiful Sicily.

Filming the hit show along with stars including Jennifer Coolidge and Theo James, Woodall likened the experience to a European vacation. But this was one working getaway that had a little summer love included.
“Because there were so many characters and so many storylines, there were so many days off,” he told People magazine. “A lot of it was kinda just one big holiday.”
When quizzed about his romance, though, Woodall chose his words carefully.
“I hang tight to the best people in my life, and I don’t get too attached to the hoo-ha of the business,” he told Harper’s Bazaar. “I think the work is the reason why we do this, and aside from that, there’s some fun to be had. But apart from that, it’s pretty much just family and the cosy parts of life that are the things that I cherish most.”
Dating for over a year now, it’s hard to pinpoint exactly when the pair went from co-stars to lovers as they’ve been careful to keep things on the down-low. But that’s slowly changing too.
In what’s been described as a “hard launch” of their relationship, on February 21, Fahy posted to Instagram a picture shot from behind of her walking arm-in-arm with Woodall.
“Who is he?!” Woodall cheekily commented.
In the months that followed they were caught sharing a kiss in the rain while walking the streets of New York City, and while heading down the red carpet for the Emmys,
Fahy wouldn’t “confirm or deny” their relationship. “Suffice it to say Italy was good for me in more than one way,” she teased.
But at the after party, they let their hair and their guard down, with Woodall wrapping his arms around his girlfriend tightly on the dancefloor.
Are Leo Woodall and Megann Fahy together?
In a Vanity Fair interview with Fahy that published in August 2024, the publication noted that the star spoke to them via video call from London where she had been “taking a breather with her boyfriend and former White Lotus costar Leo Woodall”.
It was confirmation that the pair are indeed still dating.
The same interview saw Fahy make a rare comment reflecting on Woodall’s success with One Day.
“I thought it was incredibly well done from top to bottom, and obviously the performances were my favourite part,” she said.

Woodall, meanwhile, has always been humble about his international success.
“Hollywood was never really in the conversation, that was just a freak accident,” he told People. “When I told my family that I wanted to be an actor, a lot of them weren’t surprised,” he explained, saying he was a “very theatrical” child.
“[I was] one of those annoying ones that was just constantly wanting to perform for people,” he said. “When I decided that it was what I want to do, I was all in.”
Before hitting the big time, Woodall picked up smaller parts in shows like Citadel and Vampire Academy. By 2022, he’d scored his big breakout role in The White Lotus.
“It felt very much like a stars-aligned moment when I got that,” he said. “I’ve done some really cool jobs and I’ve done some stuff that no-one saw.”
What movies and TV shows has Leo Woodall appeared in?
Woodall made his on-screen debut in 2019 as Jack Reader in the BBC drama Holby City.
Since appearing in the standalone episode, Leo has gone on to appear in a number of critically acclaimed television series, including Citadel and Vampire Academy.
Notably, Woodall starred as Jack in season two of White Lotus, with his performance seeing him take home the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Two years later, Woodall returned to our screens as Dexter Mayhew in the Netflix series adaptation of David Nicholls’ 2009 novel One Day, with the series gathering widespread popularity on social media.
Most recently, the actor has been spotted on set alongside Renée Zellweger for the upcoming Bridget Jones film, with Woodall slated to be joining the cast as Bridget’s new love interest.
