Leonardo DiCaprio has done a lot in his 41 years on planet earth.
He has sailed on the Titanic, conned hundreds of people, entered people’s dreams and now he’s going to travel to Mars. But this time, it's not for a movie.
The actor and environmentalist joined US President Barak Obama and scientist Dr. Katherine Hayhoe at the White House on Monday for the festival of ideas.
During the talk, Hayhoe joked about the possibility of visiting Mars.
"As long as we haven’t signed up for the trip to Mars, I don’t want to know if anyone has, I think you’re crazy," she said.
"I did," Leo responded.
"I think he’ll acknowledge he's crazy," Obama added.
Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of SpaceX, announced earlier this year that he’ll be launching his first trip to the red planet in two years.
But he also warned that anyone who signs up, like Leo says he has, probably won’t survive.
