While the pair look smoking hot in their '60s inspired outfits, fans were quick to point out that the promo shot is not only boring but heavily edited.
“Remember when the REAL artist would paint real works of art for posters … Sigh, I mean I am still excited as hell for this movie but this poster is lame as f**k!" one upset user Tweeted.
"PHOTOSHOPPED... FOR SURE," another one added.

Set in the 1960s, director Quentin Tarantino described the film as a “story that takes place in Los Angeles at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognise anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbour … Sharon Tate.”
Alongside Dakota Fanning, Lena Dunham, Al Pacino and Kurt Russell, Margot Robbie will also be starring in the film, taking on the role of Sharon Tate.
The film is set to be released on August 8.
