Over their three-year relationship, they maintained a quiet romance, but Gabriella was often spotted on the social media accounts of Liam’s sisters-in-law, as the Hemsworth group hung out together in their hometown of Byron Bay.
They also attended a charity dinner together in Sydney, with Liam’s big brother Chris, and wife Elsa Pataky, in tow.
Gabriella’s low profile also helped them keep free of the spotlight.
However, they did sometimes appear on each other’s Instagram.
Gabriella shared a shirtless picture of Liam last year on his birthday, simply captioning it “Birthday boy” with a red heart emoji.
Their private approach to the relationship was likely inspired by Liam’s very public marriage and divorce from Miley Cyrus.

Liam and Miley first met on the set of The Last Song in 2009 and began an on-again-off-again relationship.
They separated in 2013 but rekindled in 2016. The pair then sadly lost their home in a California wildfire in 2018, which spurred their decision to marry imminently the following November.
They were married for less than a year, separating in August 2019.
“There was too much conflict,” Miley said of their divorce.
“When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone. I don’t get off on drama or fighting,” she revealed.
However, it was reported that Liam was unbothered by the comments.
“Liam Hemsworth isn’t upset by the recent interview Miley did where she says there was too much conflict in their marriage,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
“Liam was very hurt when they initially broke up, but he has moved on now and is happy with Gabriella. He’s very traditional and Gabriella shares the same values as him and gets along with his family. Their relationship is easygoing and they have similar upbringings and backgrounds.”
