Long distance relationships are hard not matter if you’re a mere mortal, like us, or a famous celebrity like Liev Schreiber.
In his latest interview with Ellen, Liev revealed the struggle experienced whilst living away from his wife Naomi Watts, and their two kids.
While shooting his hit-show Ray Donovan, the 48-year-old has been living in LA, more than five hours flight-time away from long-term partner Naomi, and their boys Sasha, 8, and Samuel Kai, 7, who are residing in New York.
'It's hard on me most, I think.' He admitted to Ellen.
'You have to put them first at a certain point, and the back-and-forth thing can get tough.' Schreiber added, explaining why this is the first time the family has decided to do the long-distance thing.
About the decision to live cross-country from his loved ones, he went on to say that his kids are 'at that age where you kind of want them to have continuity with friends and school.'
The actor, who has been dating Watts since 2005, jokes that he tries to FaceTime his sons, but they are 'bored' of it.
