The Korean skin care and makeup movement has definitely seen a big boom in the last few years. Beauty enthusiasts everywhere have endorsed and promoted the K-beauty phenomenon and it is becoming more and more popular.
According to a recent article on Fashionista.com, one of K-Beauty’s biggest retailers Soko Glam has consistently sought out the best in Korean beauty and so have created their own Soko Glam Best of K-Beauty Awards
The winners are carefully considered and then curated by the team on the basis of reviews from their beauty community, which is great because they have been trialed and tested! The Soko Glam team ensures that the products are award-worthy before putting them on the shortlist.
Amongst the highly-regarded products are “game-changing serums, masks, exfoliators and even a hair product that strengthens strands and boosts shine.”
Soko Glam founder Charlotte Cho was quoted in the article saying “The Soko Glam Best of K-Beauty Awards are representative of the most innovative and effective ingredients and applications that came from K-beauty this year such as mushroom extract ampoules, shape memory cream, pollution-fighting cica ingredients and medical grade EGF.” She notes her favourite product as the Dr Oracle Peeling Sticks which are sais to clear hormonal breakouts.
