Jesinta Franklin has wowed fans with a surprise transformation, taking her chocolate brown locks to a new shade of blonde ahead of spring.

While the rest of us shiver our way through the winter chill, Jesinta seemed to have sunny days on her mind as she headed into the salon on Tuesday.
Teasing her makeover with a snap of her hairdresser’s tools on Instagram, the model mum took fans along for the ride as she went blonde.

“Mission: Blondie,” she captioned an Instagram Story showing off her dark locks in the hairdresser’s chair.
Jesinta followed it up with a series of short clips showing the careful process of foiling and bleaching her hair to get it to a stunning shade of honey blonde.
Showing off the final results in a third Story, the mum-of-two celebrated with the caption: “We made it. Sunkissed locks.”
But how did she get so beautifully blonde so quickly, and without any signs of damage?
It turns out Jesinta’s been hiding her transformation for two weeks, sneaking off to the salon for appointments without letting fans know.
In a caption on her process video, the 30-year-old revealed that her makeover actually took quite a bit of time, requiring two lengthy salon sessions spread across two weeks.
The lightening process would have been split up to ensure her hair stayed healthy and lush while bleaching, as over-processing hair can cause it to break or even melt off.
While Jesinta looked runway-ready with her new light hair – which will be the perfect shade for spring – she was back to being the relatable mum fans know and love just hours later.

Rather than heading off to a photo-shoot, she headed home after her makeover and got stuck back into mum duties.
“Organising the kids for the day,” she captioned a black and white video of her in the kitchen the next morning.
She continued: “Smoothies done, lunches packed. Now to get ready for work.”
After that she posted a snap of her kids’ adorable matching lunch boxes and water bottles with cute post-it notes nametags attached.
Jesinta shares daughter Tullulah and son Rocky with husband Lance “Buddy” Franklin, whom she married back in November 2016.
