Step aside long lustrous locks, the lob (long bob) is the go-to style of the summer and with celebrities embracing the look, there’s little doubt why.
Cara Delevingne, 23, unveiled her new look at a Comic-Con event promoting her film Suicide Squad in July and now fellow model Kendall Jenner, 20, has revealed the moment she joined the club in a post for her app.
“My shoots for the Vogue September issue were so much fun,” she wrote on August 11, sharing a photo taken seconds before her transformation began. “One day, we shot at the craziest house in Beverly Hills with a lake in the backyard. They asked me to cut my hair and, of course, I agreed!”
Jenner admitted that she had an “Ahh, wait! Take it back!” moment right after she got her lob haircut, and a behind-the-scenes snap of herself in the stylist’s chair proves it.
As the Australian winter draws to a close, the lob is the go-to low-maintenance cut—the perfect in-between length to complement almost every face shape and age.
To get Kendall’s unstructured look, add a few spritzes of texturising spray to a quickly dried lob and it becomes the wob (wavy bob).
