With over 1 million followers on Instagram, beauty content creator Chloe Morello advises women to use skincare from the same line and to avoid mixing brands as the active ingredients in different brands may clash and actually cause skin damage.

The reoccurring beauty trend that came up which is also set to be this summer’s biggest beauty trend is… super glowy skin! From makeup skin prep to final touch ups, extra dewy-looking and shiny skin is in!

Makeup:

Celebrity makeup artist Michael Brown says for that ‘Victoria’s Secret skin’ opt for an illuminating cream underneath makeup in order to achieve that ‘supermodel glow.’

Brown also suggested starting in the centre of the face when applying foundation and then working outwards to achieve maximum and even coverage. He recommended Dior Backstage’s foundation as it’s creamy and “blends well” as well as using a beauty blender to apply makeup.

Makeup artist Emma Chen’s take on perfecting the summer glow consists of using a strobe gel or highlighter stick down the bridge of the nose, your cupid’s bow and on the cheekbones for that extra shine. She recommends Benefits’ Hoova highlight stick.

Attendees definitely got their money’s worth as they were able to have an interactive beauty experience at the various brands’ activation stations such as brow treatments at Benefit, having their makeup done at Dior and taking photo booth images and GIFs for their social media which was texted to them straight away – genius.

The best part though was the generous goody bag which included samples of some of Sephora’s best products from brands such as Tarte, BECCA, Dior Backstage, Fresh beauty and ZOEVA.
