For most of her time in the spotlight, Zoë has rocked her curly hair in an ear-length bob, and has never strayed from her brown hair colour.

But in a relatable moment, the skincare maven posted on her Instagram Stories about how she failed to grow her hair, as she couldn’t resist going back to the look her fans adore.

In the first picture, Zoë shared a mirror selfie with a floral wallpaper accent wall in the background that she captioned  with a cryptic, “Uh oh.”

The next post revealed that the implied drama was hair-related as she admitted, “Looks like someone gave up on growing her hair out.”

Lastly, Zoë beamed about how refreshed she feels after getting her hair back to normal.

“I feel like MEEEE again! Will I ever go (have the patience to) long again? Who knows!* (*cares),” she wrote.

The mum-of-two also made a mention to her hairstylist and thanked them for transforming her hair.

“Thank you for the extremely excellent cut, @sophieroberts_hair… Now do your dang best, Sydney humidity. I’m fringed and curly and don’t give a hoot.”

The story offers fans a glimpse into Zoë’s new life in Sydney, where she has moved with her funny-man husband Hamish Blake and their two children, Sonny and Rudy.

Since the family has been going through so much change, it is no surprise Zoë sought out some normalcy through her hair.

Before the big move, the media personality uploaded a heartfelt Instagram post about leaving Melbourne for Sydney.

“I moved to Melbourne from Sydney (for love!) (also the bars!) eight years ago with no set return. But the time has come, I’m heading back. And in great news for my kids, husband and cat, I’ve decided they may accompany me,” she joked.

“Go-To, the company I started in Sydney (and then almost immediately moved to Melbourne 😐), is rapidly growing and needs me, and I am so excited to be near my family and the sea once more.”

Zoë added: “There are so many places I can’t wait to take my kids (the Blue Mountains! Kiama! Burrawang pub!) and things I will lovingly force them to do as per my childhood, especially the bit where my mum makes them collect chookshit to fertilize the garden and dad takes a four-year old on a 5km bushwalk in high summer.

“But oh, I will miss and mourn Melbourne deeply. Especially after the year we’ve been through. I feel an immense bond to this city and the people within. I love Melbourne SO hard. It’s a brilliant, creative, warmhearted, innovative and beautiful city. I shall return often with much joy and a long list of people and restaurants I adore and need to see.

“I feel lucky to have been able to live here, and really feel like it was home. Get ready Sydney. We’re coming for you and we are VERY SERIOUS ABOUT COFFEE.”
