According to the publication, producers are worried about the negative publicity Lindsay is getting from not knowing the contestants and her rumoured diva demands have drummed up negative publicity for the show.
Last week, Lindsay knocked back claims of diva behaviour during an interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
“There were some things that were said that weren’t a part of what was happening on the show,” Lindsay began.
“None of us had had anything to eat for a very long period of time,” Lindsay explained.
“The audience only had pretzels. Everyone needed to eat real food.”
Jackie O Henderson – who is also a judge alongside Lindsay on The Masked Singer – agreed with the star.
“Yeah, because we’d been gone all day!” the mother-of-one said.
“Twelve hours,” Lindsay said.
“I was like Jackie, do you want me to get up and go tell them that we have to have our thirty-minute break? Because legally we have to have a break.”
“We had 15 minutes to eat!”
While it remains to be seen whether Lindsay will be replaced, she’s no stranger to getting the chop. The flame-haired star’s MTV reality show, centred around opening a club in Greece was recently axed.
