Lisa Wilkinson has shared a cryptic Instagram post hinting she has big career plans in the pipeline in America!
The TV personality uploaded a photo of palm trees and captioned the image: 'Sometimes life takes you places you weren't expecting...but you're so glad it did. Like here. #LosAngeles. Watch this space...'
The 57-year-old was believed to be in the States over the weekend to meet up with CWS bosses, who bought out Channel Ten when they went into administration earlier this year.
After Lisa's shock resignation from Today, it was revealed she was to join the panel at Channel Ten's The Project.
The Nine Network faced a wall of criticism following Lisa Wilkinson's shock departure from popular morning program, The Today Show, after the network failed to grant pay parity with her male co-host, Karl Stefanovic.
Nine CEO Hugh Marks say he has 'no regrets' about letting the vereran journalist walk away.
"I don't regret it at all. It was exactly the right decision for us to make," Marks told The Daily Telegraph.
Hugh's maintains his claims that Lisa's pay demands weren't viable, given that she had other commercial contracts with rival companies that restricted their complete access to her.
"We got to the point where for the level of work she did for the rights that we were able to access for Lisa, we weren't able to come to a commercial agreement," he further explained.
It's still unclear as to who will be replacing Lisa's role.
