"If you've got those same dreams, then I've got some great news - as part of my 10th anniversary celebrations on@thetodayshow, we are providing an incredible opportunity for ten aspiring young journalists to spend a week with us behind the scenes, to learn all about how we put the show to air," Wilkinson wrote.
Aspiring media professionals can expect to "spend one-on-one time with me, and shadow some of our hard-working team to see what goes into producing Today."
Wilkinson also let her 200,000 Instagram followers know that the talent scouting process is limited on time. "But hurry, entries close at midnight AEDT tomorrow, Friday, June 2nd. All the details are on our website & Facebook page.
Good luck!!" she wrote.
RELATED: Sylvia Jeffrey's on-air breakdown
While it's not known how long the internships will be, but if co-worker Sylvia Jeffrey's reaction is anything to go by, budding journalists will be in for a great experience.
Last week, Jeffrey's revealed how much of an inspiration Wilkinson was to work with day in and day out.
“Every day, every interview, every segment, every single thing you do, you strive for excellence and you never stop and you set such a wonderful example for every woman in the industry, which is such an incredible thing," she said on a show that aired on May 26.
“It is wonderful to sit next to someone like you, to absorb everything. It’s a really special thing."
Wilkinson has worked on the show for ten years alongside co-host Karl Stefanovic.
