Jess and Aaron’s fight was a far cry from the old days of Erin Barnett screaming at Eden Dally in season one.
It began, as many reality TV moments do, with a nip slip.
Jess told Aaron she’d accidentally exposed herself while dancing, and was surprised when he shot her ‘a filthy look’. He giggled later when she told him what he’d done, telling her that wasn’t what had happened at all, and that the whole thing was dumb.
However, Jess couldn’t be convinced otherwise, telling him “I don’t want to be with someone that thinks, when I bring something up, it’s dumb.”
Aaron addressed their fight at the firepit.
“Jess, obviously we started off rocky and it was hard at the start, and I saw qualities I’d never seen in anyone before,”
“We definitely had something good, but I guess in the last two days I’ve really felt like I’ve seen a lot that I don’t want, and I’ve seen a lot of me that I don’t like,” he admitted.
Things got worse as the two attempted to communicate, up until the point where Jess said she felt she needed a third party during their conversations.
While Aaron’s things aren’t packed just yet, we’re certain he’s committed to his decision, with both Mitch and Ryan breaking down and tears and embracing their bestie.
While watching Love Island contestants make healthy choices might be something new, we’re definitely breathing a sigh of relief that this fight seems done and dusted.
