The minimalist white design of the terrace is pretty gosh-darn chic, and we could totally see ourselves sunbaking on that poolside deck (slathered in SPF, obvs, because #sunsmart).
"They are coming to meet each other for the first time," Sophie shared with Steve as the pair headed outside. "No phones. They've been locked down. No-one knows who's in it. Australia do – but they don't."
And, just like last year, it's Australia who will eventually decide who takes home the cash prize. (And the love. Don't forget the love.)
"If they don't believe the right intentions, if they just don't like the couple being together, if someone is being unkind, you know, it's up to you to vote them out."
And in case you were wondering, yes, the cameras are definitely on all the time – and no-one is safe!
"One day, I had a wedgie and I was in a corner, and they went, "I can see you, Sophie!" she spilled as they took a wander around the pink-and-mint themed washroom.
Naturally, Steve went ahead asked asked Soph the question we all really wanted to as the two took a look inside the bedroom (oh yeah, there's only one of those... for all the guys and gals taking on the island this year).
"Are we going to see any naughty business?"
"No."
(Cute collective disappointment but also actually relief because no-one needs to see that...)
"You don't need it," she said, "It's better to keep people guessing."
Unlike last year, this season of the hit dating series will be broadcast on Channel Nine and not 9GO!. Despite the slight change, as expected, former Bachelorette star Sophie Monk will return for hosting duties, as will the show's hilarious narrator, Irish comic Eoghan McDermott.
