In the rediscovered footage, Cassies and friend Katrina form the singing duo Duplex and perform in front of judges Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Gary Barlow.
However, despite the duo’s best attempt to impress the judges with their rapping and singing, their attempts fell flat and they were dismissed from the audition.

"You both can't sing," said Gary Barlow at the end of their performance. "Really awful singing. . .woeful," he concluded.
'It's probably just the nerves,' Cassie's singing partner replied, but Gary wasn't convinced.
'No, no it's not the nerves you just really can't sing,' he said.
As well as her failed X Factor audition and current stint on Love Island, the British star has appeared as an extra in Made in Chelsea and even auditioned for a previous season of The Bachelor.
