ICYMI, Cathy Evans had a bit of a breakdown after she spotted her partner (aka the other half of this year's golden couple) Josh Pihlak talking to old mate Hayles at the dinner party on Wednesday night.
The financial analyst had put her arm on Josh's shoulder while the pair laughed and chatted with others at the table – and major red flags shot up for Cathy.
"I started to get threatened and jealous that he was talking to all the girls," Cathy admitted the next day while talking to Stacey and Hayley about the fight that followed her freakout.
According to Hayley, Cathy had nothing to worry about.
"Was I flirting with Josh? Or was Josh flirting with me? Absolutely not, that’s my husband’s best friend," Hayley said with certainty.
"Are you kidding me? I wouldn’t flirt with someone else’s husband anyway.
"I’m all about staying true to girl code. No. That’s absurd."
Hmm, is it though? Because, like we said – Hayley and Michael.
Fellow MAFS bride Vanessa Romito spilled the tea about Hayley and Michael's affair, revealing shocking details about their secret romance.
"It definitely happened."
And it wasn't a one-time thing, with Vanessa saying that the pair "hooked up multiple times" and quickly started to develop feelings for one another.
This isn't the first time Hayley's spoken about her passion for 'girl code' and not engaging in the wife swapping that's – let's face it – become part and parcel of the MAFS experience.
Anyone remember way back in episode 1, when Hayley announced at the hens' night that all the girls should promise not to shag each other's partners?
Ahem. We do.
According to Vanessa, the alleged affair took place in her hotel room while David's wife Stacey was in Adelaide with her two young sons.
"Michael walked into our room. He was really drunk and so was Hayley," Vanessa spilled. "Hayley said, 'My husband doesn’t want to f--k me.' And I said, 'Mine doesn’t either.' [Michael] turned around and said, 'I would f--k both of you.'"
