What happened between Brent and Daniel?
The two grooms reportedly didn’t get along while the show was filming, with a lot of the cast holding disdain for Daniel over his relationship with Carolina Santos.
Daniel and Carolina didn’t gel with their given partners, so struck up a tryst behind the back of Carolina’s partner, Dion Giannarelli.
When Carolina and Daniel finally took their relationship to the rest of the group, the other contestants staged a major walk-out in protest of their questionable behaviour.
And once the show finished airing, it didn’t take long for the animosity to grow.

“Brent is literally the only person from this season of MAFS that I am just not a fan of,” Daniel said on Instagram, when he challenged Brent to join him in the boxing ring.
“Even after the show aired this guy was making [Instagram] live videos... asking his followers if they have any dirt on me and asking for naked photos of me, and it's like ‘who is this guy?’” he went on.
“Why are you so obsessed with me, bro? Like it's insane.
“It's very obvious Tamara [Djordjevic] didn't want a bar of you because you made it very evident behind the scenes that you just couldn't wait for your influencer career moving forward,” Daniel said.
“And, hey, look who's announced he's a full-time influencer now? So look, bro, October 15, let's do it,” he challenged his castmate.
Brent accepted immediately, jumping on an Instagram live with his MAFS bestie, Al Perkins.
“Beautiful. It’s on. It’s going to be fun,” he said.
But will they keep their fighting to the ring?
Obviously not! Things have only gotten snarkier between the pair since the match was announced, as they continue to sling dirt at each other while waiting for their chance to punch on in October.
Speaking to The Wash, Brent claimed Daniel was looking for an opponent after backing down from a fight with their fellow co-star, Mitch Eynaud, who had previous boxing experience.
“He'd already backed down from Mitch because Mitch was a professional boxer. Mitch was calling him out, trying to get him to fight but he wouldn't do it. Then he posted [on social media] that he wouldn't fight anyone from our season,” Brent said.

"So, I took it upon myself to step in I guess."
"I'm not going to sit there and talk smack like he has - I'm not a keyboard warrior."
Bizarrely, Daniel also made a doctored image of himself and Brent in a boxing ring, where he was seen towering over his opponent – seemingly making fun of Brent’s height.
“I'm not going to keep photos of him like he does with me in his camera roll so he can make cute little photos if that makes him feel bigger about himself,” Brent explained.
However, he did take a dig at Daniel’s previous struggles with steroid addiction.
“He can take all the steroids in the world he wants to take… I just don’t care. I'll keep it classy, I've still got a business and stuff to run but we'll talk in the ring.”
What’s the latest?
Brent and Daniel landed themselves in the headlines once more this month, when Daniel accused Brent of *checks notes* lying about charity donations.
Apparently, Daniel slammed Brent’s claim that he would donate proceeds from the match to charity, essentially saying he was doing it for attention.
Brent took to Instagram to say that every sale goes to It’s Okay Not to be Okay, a mental health charity he’s just begun an ambassadorship with.
But Daniel wasn’t having it, taking to his Stories to write “Brent’s still tryna look like the good guy [sic]”.
“What it actually means is if you use his link, he’ll get 15% of that sale which is what he’s donating to a charity,” he continued.
“F---ing hate misleading idiots, using a charity just to help their public image.”
“It’s disgusting enough that he’s tried to attack someone trying to do good because the whole purpose of the charity that I’m doing this for is to have a voice, to raise awareness,” Brent told So Dramatic!
“His behaviour … it’s just low as f---.”
We’re sure there will be plenty more fireworks to see in the lead up to the fight! Bring on October.
