After Section 8 shared the message to Facebook, the social media manager of another bar, YoYo, alleged they'd received the same offer.
'We got that too!' Yoyo responded on Facebook.
The messages come after Daniel made a post to Instagram on Tuesday announcing that he had signed with management company CTM Group.
"I can't wait to work with a team who understands my direction, and we can't wait for the future!" wrote the car salesman.
Shortly afterwards, CTM Group confirmed the deal and encouraged those interested in hiring Dan for brand partnerships and public appearances to get in touch.
While we are unsure of who sent these original messages to the Melbourne venues it is safe to say it is very embarrassing attempt to gain a gig!
