Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Sam revealed he was on a mission to beat the 'isolation blues' by getting into the best shape of his life.
'I'm training two times a day. I have bought lots, so now I have my own gym set up at home, and other days I improvise outdoors,' he said.
'I'll reach [my goal] in a few months, it's just for myself. I love it, so I'm just enjoying the process.'
'I love being healthy and the lifestyle so if anything, the coronavirus is pushing me to chase my goals even harder,' he added.
After a six-month social media hiatus, Sam made his return to Instagram last month – just in time for Lizzie’s grand re-entrance into the show.
Discussing the intruder's highly anticipated debut, the controversial groom— who infamously cheated on her with last year's villain, Ines Basic— sarcastically commended Elizabeth for trying her hand at love again on a reality TV show, subtly hinting she's well aware the series is "fake".
"Good on her if that's what she wants to do to find love. Everyone that's been in the experiment [before] knows how set up [it is], and what goes on behind the scenes. I wouldn't do it again," he said when asked during an Instagram live what he thought of the Sydney retail manager's return.
"Would I meet up with Lizzie and hang out? No, I wouldn't. I don't think we share the same interests. There are things that happened that were in her control after the show that she didn't have to do or comment on, which she did."
