In photographs shared by the Daily Mail, the pair were spotted enjoying a round of drinks at Gold Coast’s Burleigh Pavilion over the weekend. They both looked relaxed and elated to be in each other’s company, sharing multiple jokes as they sat side-by-side at the bar.
The businessman wore a black dress shirt, white jeans and a gold wristwatch for the occasion, while the single mum-of-two opted for a casual pink mini skirt and white tank. She completed the laid-back look with a Louis Vuitton handbag, designer sunglasses and strappy black sandals, her hair styled in loose waves.
Given their troubled relationship – which began when Michael cheated on his bride with co-star Hayley Vernon during filming - the happy reunion has come as a huge surprise to fans. Still, both parties are adamant there’s no unfinished business between them.
“He had a fun time. He was hooking up with multiple girls,” Stacey told The Kyle And Jackie O show on Monday, adding that she acted as Michael’s “wing-woman” during the outing.
“We’re just good friends,” Michael reiterated. “She’s not that stupid [to get back with me.]”
The couple officially ended their "marriage" at the cast reunion in January, when Michael accused Stacey of sleeping with a fellow groom – something she vehemently denied.
While the 26-year-old hasn’t been romantically linked to anyone since, Michael has dated a string of women, including *MAFS* star KC Osborne and bikini brand founder Mahala Lincoln.
