‘He started calling me unhealthy and said to me that I don’t eat vegetables. That I only eat three things. What’s it your business what I do eat and what I don’t eat?
‘I obviously don’t want a repeat of last year,' she said, reminding us all of the hell she went through with body-shaming hubby Sam.
‘It’s been a week you’ve been with me. You don’t really know me. There’s some red flags here.’
She added, ‘Seb’s into his fitness. He’s into his health and nutrition.'
It was time to sit down with Seb after arriving, to talk things through. She explained, ‘I know you were coming from a good place. I know there was no malice behind what you said, but you telling me that I was the most unhealthy person that you know, that did really, really upset me. First of all I want to say I’m not a project, so I’m not asking for you to change me in any way.'
He was devastated.
The personal trainer was beyond apologetic.
'Everything has come from a place of care,' he said.
To Lizzie, he explained that he had no prior knowledge to her trauma, caused at the hands of Sam. 'I wasn’t aware at all of your prior history.
'I could have communicated a lot more effectively. I just blurted it out.'
Then, he apologised and they kissed and made up, literally. 'I purely came form a place of health and fitness and care,' he explained.
