"Nine provides all participants with ongoing support for the duration of the show and we monitor all participant’s social media accounts so that we are aware of and manage any negative commentary," a spokesperson tells WHO in a statement of the rules of posting.
At the moment, the stars can request to post via Nine but cannot directly share their own content - which also obviously means a lack of funding via paid sponsorships on the platform. A favourite past time for the reality TV set.
When the reigns are handed back over to the cast soon, their numbers should all skyrocket further like Martha Kalfiatidis (640,000 followers) and Jules Robinson (753,000 followers).

Before the show Dom, a make-up artist and micro-influencer, had 12,000 followers on her page. She now boasts an amazing 389,000 followers, keenly waiting for her to take back the #content schedule.
With 3,000 followers, Ella's Instagram was a mix of cute selfies, photos with friends and golden hour snaps. Now, after becoming a clear fan-fave throughout the series, Ella has 363,000 followers.
Cinema manager Holly was only on the show for three weeks, but still managed to transform her 1,300 followers into 43,300.
Teaching student Olivia didn't have too many posts on her page, with a handful of family photos and the occasional mirror selfie. She had just over 2,000 followers, with a hefty 102,000 followers now.
Amid the selfies and photos with friends, one thing was clear: Samantha loves a happy snap at the beach. Her Instagram account had plenty and was followed by more than 1,000 people. After the show, she has 97,800.
Single mother Selin is proud of her two-year-old son, Roman, and her Instagram certainly shows it! Posting regularly about her "sweet boy" to her 1,200 followers before the show, she's now got 47,300 followers.
A hairdresser with her own YouTube Channel, it's only fitting that Selina already had a couple of thousand followers thanks to her fun posts. Now, though, she's got an impressive 138,000.
Tamara's Instagram consists of three key things: selfies, drinks with the girls, and her dog Zeus. She had more than 6,000 followers pre-show, only going up to 80,000 now - low compared to some of her other co-stars, who were on the show just as long.
Adventures. Sport. Wearing a red beret in front of the Eiffel Tower. The youngest of this year's contestants, it's no surprise Al's Instagram is filled with photos from his travels and adventures in recent years. The makings of a perfect Hinge profile now that he's single.
At the beginning, Al had a little over 3,000 followers. Now? He's up there as one of the favourite grooms, boasting 149,000 followers.
Andrew (Not to be all formal but: N/A)
Andrew doesn't have Instagram and we would just like to say we found that suspicious from the start. Next!
What's more suspicious? Having no account, or having an account with only a single photo? Anthony either deleted all of his photos or he's brand new to the 'gram. Because he had no #content to check out, Anthony was not followed by many people pre-show but now has 69,500 keen followers.
Okay, BRENT. This is more like it. 50,000 followers from the start and a whole bunch of influencer-esque photos from his life in Dubai. Has Tamara seen this? Thanks to his lovable ways, Brent ended up with 284,000 followers at the end of the show.
Cody's Instagram has all of your classics. Best Man photos, hiking trail photos, and of course, the budgy smuggler snap. He had more than most at the beginning of the show, with a few thousand followers. Now he's got 58,000.
With absolutely nothing else to go off, we called Jack our early favourite based on this photo alone. And it's not the only stellar snap of his dog, Finn. He knew how to serve up the like-worthy goods to his 1,400 followers pre-show. Now, he has 168,000 people to keep entertained on the 'gram.
With 1,200 followers, Jackson's Instagram feed was fairly standard pre-show. Now, he's got 79,000 followers waiting to see what he'll post when he gets his account back.
Last but not least was Mitch, whose Instagram is filled with shirtless snaps and selfies showing off his perfect hair. Mitch had more than 1,000 followers at the beginning and ended up with 109,000.
The intruders didn't make this OG list, but here's where their Instagram accounts are at now, one week after the show finished.
- Dion Giannarelli - 116,000 followers
- Carolina Santos - 107,000 followers
- Daniel Holmes - 92,000 followers
- Jessica Seracino - 10,000 followers
- Matt Ridley - 28,000 followers
- Kate Laidlaw - 9,200 followers
