"Nine provides all participants with ongoing support for the duration of the show and we monitor all participant’s social media accounts so that we are aware of and manage any negative commentary," a spokesperson tells WHO in a statement of the rules of posting.
At the moment, the stars can request to post via Nine but cannot directly share their own content - which also obviously means a lack of funding via paid sponsorships on the platform. A favourite past time for the reality TV set.
When the reigns are handed back over to the cast soon, their numbers should all skyrocket further like Martha Kalfiatidis (640,000 followers) and Jules Robinson (753,000 followers).

Adventures. Sport. Wearing a red beret in front of the Eiffel Tower. The youngest of this year's contestants, it's no surprise Al's Instagram is filled with photos from his travels and adventures in recent years. The makings of a perfect Hinge profile now that he's single.
At the beginning, Al had a little over 3,000 followers. Now? He's up there as one of the favourite grooms, boasting 149,000 followers.
