36-year-old Duncan seems to have it all; a career, emotional maturity, looks and family values. What's not to love?
And as his relationship with Alyssa continues to hit a few speed bumps, fans are hoping he could front another reality show.
Audiences have swarmed social media with messages of support for the groom as his relationship with Alyssa continues to break down.
“Don't worry, Duncan. The Bachelor awaits,” tweeted one viewer tweeted, as another wrote, “'Duncan for the groom on The Bachelor.”
However, Duncan himself coyly responded to fans' demands, as he joined Fitzy, Wippa and Kate Ritchie's dinner party. When asked if he would consider becoming the next Bachelor, he replied, "No...I'm just a young man looking for love."
Following his breakup with Alyssa during the final vows, Duncan also chatted to WHO about the possibility of fronting another reality show. "Who knows what the future holds" he laughed.
"It's an honour to be considered as a possible future Bachelor, so we'll see."
We don't know about you - but that doesn't entirely seem like a complete no? Maybe it's just wishful thinking...
The calls for Duncan’s Bachelor run come after speculation that he and MAFS’ wife Evelyn reportedly hit it off.
After the couple were paired together during an official three-day couple swap, an insider shared with New Idea that their chemistry was undeniable.
“Duncan had the best time with Evelyn. The fun part of him came out again,” spilled the inside source,
“He wondered what it would have been like if they were matched together from the start. He is definitely attracted to her.”
“Everyone noticed Duncan was smiling again – even Alyssa. That was hard for her to see.”
