The hidden suitor had the chance to speak with 10 contestants over the course of the hour and at the end would pick one person, dropping down on one knee to "propose."
When Selina appeared on the show as a bachelorette, she was proposed to by Aaron Shaw. Another Aussie reality TV fiend who you might recognise from Love Island Australia, which he appeared on in 2019 after The Proposal.
Clearly, things didn’t work out for Selina and Aaron. Following the end of their episode, she released a 13 minute YouTube clip explaining what happened after Aaron dropped down on one knee.
"After the cameras and the lights and the glitz and glam was gone, the next day it was Aaron and I," Selina said in the video.
"We really got to know each other on a whole other level and we both just instantly knew that it was a friendship connection and that was all it was."
Three years later and Selina is appearing on our screens again, this time for much longer and on a much grander scale. A "millions of viewers" kind of scale.
Though, she tells WHO she wasn't paying "any mind" to the massive fanbase when applying to the show. She says it was just her turn for "happily ever after" after watching the series for years.
"I do come from quite a traditional family and I always did feel like I let my parents down by choosing hairdressing over a degree," Selina tells WHO, revealing she put her career success ahead of romance in order to make her parents proud of her work.

"I did drown myself in work to try to make them proud and now I’m 32 and single," she continues. "I guess you get to a point in your life when you reflect and I was like, I’m going to end up like that old lady from Titanic if I keep trying to just make my parents proud and gain their approval.
"I’ve always been a massive fan of the show and I saw all the cute couples last year… and I want my happily ever after. I needed to do something for me for once."
Here's hoping Selina gets her fairytale ending this time around! She's been paired with Cody Bromley and so far things are off to a rocky start, but we've got our fingers crossed for the bubbly contestant.
Married At First Sight Australia airs Monday to Wednesday, 7:30pm, and Sunday, 7pm, on Nine Network and 9Now. Meet all the couples here.
