Taking to Instagram, Garner penned a heartfelt caption alongside a wedding snap of himself and his former partner Zoe.
"Zoe and I both went into this experiment with open minds and really hoping to find A partner to share our lives with," he began.
"We are so fortunate and thankful that we were matched together and have shared many great experiences over the last four years."
He went on to admit that while the couple has split, their 17-month-old daughter is their main priority.
"We share the most important thing in both of our lives Harper Rose and will continue to love her and be the best parents possible."
"Although Zoe and I have separated our relationship is Civil. Thank you to our friends and followers for your continuing support."
This comes one day after Zoe first shared news that the couple were separating in her own heartbreaking Instagram post.
The couple took part in the MAFS social experiment 2015 and welcomed their daughter in November the following year.
